The Pre-school group is a year of preparation for kindergarten, but it is not a school year. Planned activities are kept short (20–25 minutes) and always open with play. This year the child learns to work with pencil, scissors and glue, to tell a story in order and to wait their turn in a group.
Pırpır is a day nursery; for after age four we help families choose a kindergarten under the Ministry of National Education and, with the parent’s permission, share the child’s development notes with the new teacher.
What grows in this group?
- Holding a pencil, using scissors, lines and shapes
- Telling things in full sentences, putting a story in order
- Counting, matching, patterns and measuring games
- Taking a turn to speak, taking on tasks, following rules in a group
