Baby Group
From six months until they start walking. Each baby’s sleep and feeding times follow their routine at home; we run a baby calendar, not a group calendar. One educator for every three babies.

In the baby group the timetable is written around the baby. In the first week we put the baby’s sleep, feeding and soothing habits on a form together with the parent; the educator rereads it every morning. Never missing a bottle time, never cutting a nap short and greeting the baby with the same familiar face are the three ground rules of this group.
Nappy changes, meals and naps are logged as they happen, and at the end of the day the parent receives a filled-in report card. Medicine is only given by our nurse, with a doctor’s prescription and the parent’s signed instruction.
